Helen & Will - A small wedding with BIG scenery
Helen & Will chose a beautiful location in CT for their wedding. The Cornwall Bridge area near Kent Falls. The ceremony was small and intimate with family & friends at the Breadloaf Mountain Lodge. (a popular fly fishing/outdoor retreat area) We were able to dodge in and out of the mist/rain in the afternoon and sneak away to the woods for some photos. Thanks to you both- as well as your families. All were so kind and made me feel as though I was just another family member enjoying your wedding with you as I captured it.
Found an interesting surface for the rings on a grill top outside the preparation suite...
The guests each gave Helen a flower to add to her bouquet as she walked down the aisle...nice touch!
This area was conveniently located across the road from the ceremony site...
Kent Falls...
Rain can always make for some fun photos...

Jenni-Rae & Brandon at Harkness Park
So this was definitely the first time I've seen a bride walk the aisle ON horseback... dress poof and all. Jenni-Rae pulled it off with no casualties! Harkness is a great spot with beautiful architecture, gardens, and water views. This June has been the rainiest I can remember, but fortunately we had sun and overcast skies for photos. Jenni & Brandon thanks for having me join you in capturing your day, you both rocked it.
There was this great chair in the hallway we had to take advantage of...
Love the expressions...
Thought this one was kind of funny how the horse seemed to turn away during the kiss

Jessica & Ryan in Old Saybrook
The day with Jessica and Ryan was pretty much all around fun. From the VW send off to the rockin band at the reception there was never a dull moment at this wedding! (well unless you count the bird incident...J&R you know what I'm talkin about)
I have photographed at the Old Saybrook Point Inn several times - a beautiful area with plenty of locations for great photos. Thanks again to you both for having me photograph your big day.
The excited bride finishing getting ready...
Way to go Dad for supplying the sweet ride.
So let's talk about the Nerds. They are a NJ cover band whom I highly recommend if you're looking for a great party...lots of energy...good times. These guys rule! yep, that's Ryan on the cowbell.
We snuck out for this moonlight shot in the marina.
